Additional Information
In horses with clinical disease, the IgM Capture ELISA is recommended rather than PCR on tissues, if serum is available. PDS is no longer accepting swabs in gel media for PCR testing, refer to PDS website for acceptable swabs - https://pdsinc.ca/services/molecular-diagnostics.
